PARK POLICIES
Please review the following park policies so that all of our guests may enjoy the best possible park experience:
Everyone on the property must sign a liability waiver. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver for them. A signed waiver is valid for the Tree Trekkers calendar year. Haven’t signed your waiver yet? Completing your waiver online, ahead of time, speeds up your check in process. A link to the waiver will be included in your reservation confirmation email labeled "Group Waiver Management". You can also sign your waiver online by clicking the BLUE "SIGN WAIVER" BUTTON at the the bottom of the screen.
In the case of a group event, all parent/guardians of minors must sign a liability waiver in advance. The waiver must be signed by the legal parent or guardian. All participants must participate in required safety training prior to climbing.
Guests must meet the required weight limit and fit correctly in our harnesses. A properly fitted harness will have at least 1 inch of webbing pulled through each buckle. We reserve the right to refuse participation if these requirements are not met. Guests will be given a full refund.
4-7 yr olds must be accompanied by an adult climber.
Ages 15 yrs and younger need to have an adult chaperone on the property during their visit.
There is no smoking, tobacco use, or drugs, permitted on the property. All guests must be of sound mind and not under the influence of any mind-altering substance. Alcohol is not permitted.
We understand that things happen and we will work with you to reschedule your adventure.
General admission bookings can be cancelled up to 1 week in advance, for a full refund, or we’d be happy to help you reschedule. If less than 1 week notice is given, you can reschedule for a future date or an account credit will be issued.
Groups and birthday parties require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Cancellations must be 1 week prior to reservation date for a full refund. If less than 1 week notice is given, you can reschedule for a future date or receive an account credit for the deposit amount to be used at a future date. Account credits never expire and can be used for any park products.
Weather cancellations
If you wake up and Mother Nature is raining on your parade, just give us a phone call and we’ll be happy to reschedule your reservation. The park does remain open in light rain.
Sometimes Mother Nature is a real “bummer”. If we’re having extreme weather, such as heavy winds, severe thunderstorms, lightning, downpours, ice, snow, or an extremely high heat index, we may have to close the course. (We use The Weather Channel for all of our weather information.) If this is the case, we will reschedule your climb or provide a rain voucher for future use.
"No shows" will NOT be eligible for a refund or be rescheduled. If you are running late or unable to make it to your scheduled time, please call so we can assist you. 301-888-8735

If you are fortunate enough to observe our wildlife, please keep a respectful distance (recommended 3 ft away). If you would like to observe an animal’s normal behavior in their natural habitat, it is best to remain very quiet, calm, and still.
